NOPD Seeking Suspect in Eighth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in the ongoing investigation of an armed robbery that occurred on August 14, 2022, in the 1600 block of Pauger Street.

Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives determined that at about 1:30 a.m., the pictured suspect brandished a firearm and committed an armed robbery against two victims, robbing them of their wallets containing cash, debit/credit cards and ID cards. One of the victim’s wallets was later recovered.

The suspect was described as black male, believed to be in his late teens to early 20s in age, standing approximately 5’8” in height with a medium build and short hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with front printed graphic design and the hood raised, a white one-strap sling bag, black pants and black shoes.
