NOPD Seeking Suspect in Seventh District Simple Kidnapping

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Miguel Leon (pictured, DOB: 07-30-2002) in the investigation of a simple kidnapping that occurred on July 23, 2020 in the 7000 block of Crowder Boulevard.

Through investigation, NOPD Seventh District detectives positively identified Leon as the suspected perpetrator who allegedly forced the victim against her will inside a vehicle, which was later learned to have been stolen.

When located, Leon will be arrested for simple kidnapping, simple battery and possession of stolen property. Additionally, Leon is also wanted for several additional outstanding warrants for offenses auto theft, domestic battery and possession of stolen property.
