The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Dwight Sparrow (pictured, DOB: 10-13-1972) in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on August 5, 2020 at the intersection of Curran and Buffalo roads.
Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Detectives determined that at approximately 7:30 p.m., a subject later positively identified as Sparrow was apparently involved in a verbal and physical altercation with the victim. During this altercation, Sparrow allegedly produced a handgun and shot the victim several times. The victim was transported to a hospital by private conveyance, where he later died.
When located, Sparrow will be arrested on one count of second-degree murder.
