Suspect Wanted for Drug Law Violation in Fourth District

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating the pictured subject who is wanted in connection with a Fourth District drug law violation.

On August 6, 2019 around 1:15 p.m., Fourth District officers, with assistance from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, conducted a narcotics investigation in the 1400 block of Flanders Street.

Officers executed a search warrant at the residence. The search yielded the confiscation of cocaine, heroin and a large amount of U.S. currency. The investigation also resulted in the acquisition of an arrest warrant for Jamal Mitchell (DOB: 07/22/1978).
