The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect who is wanted for his alleged involvement in an aggravated assault incident that occurred in the 4100 block of Dement Street.
The reporting person told police that on August 18, 2019 around 1 a.m., the victim was walking west on Dement Street when an unknown black male wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie and a baseball cap, produced a handgun and fired multiple shots toward the victim.
The victim reportedly fired several gunshots back towards the subject. The subject then fled the scene on foot towards Press Drive.
