Suspect Sought for Shooting into a Building on General DeGaulle

NOPD is looking for a suspect wanted in connection with shooting at a business in the Fourth District.

 

The victim reported that shortly after 2 a.m. on July 31, 2017, an unknown male was observed shooting multiple rounds at a business in the 3600 block of General DeGaulle Drive. The perpetrator then flees the scene on foot. Surveillance video taken prior to the incident shows the suspect and two unknown males in the parking lot of the business handling firearms and sitting in a vehicle.

 

The vehicle is described as a gold, four-door, older model Toyota with black front and rear bumpers, three black rims, and a gray hubcap on the front passenger side. It has a cracked windshield and the hood has multiple dents.

 

The suspect is wanted for criminal damage to property and illegal discharge of a firearm. The other two unknown males are persons of interest that may have valuable information about this incident.
