NOPD needs the public’s assistance locating a suspect wanted in connection to an attempted murder.
The victim reported that Scorelander L. Johnson (DOB: 10/13/1978) came to her residence on August 1, 2017, at approximately 2:30 a.m. She stated that once inside the home, Johnson struck her multiple times with a baseball bat, then pulled out a handgun and shot her several times as she lay on the floor. He then fled the scene.
Johnson is reported to be driving a black 2006 Hyundai Elantra or a silver four-door silver Volkswagen.
