NOPD Searching for Vehicle Involved in Burglary on Cartier Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate a vehicle reportedly involved in a burglary which occurred on August 20, 2017 in the 6300 block of Cartier Street.

At about 11:15 a.m., the victim observed an unknown black male with a bald head, brown complexion and medium build, wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans enter her open garage. The victim then observed the unknown male exit her garage with an extension cord, hedge trimmer and sander all belonging to the victim. The victim approached the subject and engaged in a physical altercation, which caused the subject to drop the sander. The subject then entered the pictured vehicle and fled the location.

The vehicle is described as being blue in color, bearing no license plate and having damage to the front driver’s side door.
