New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft by fraud.
Wanted is Feriyon Destany Brown (pictured), Black female, DOB 08/01/1997.
According to investigators, on March 15, 2026 Feriyon Destany Brown pretended to be a rideshare driver and picked up the victim at a location in the Central Business District. She gained possession of the victim's cellular phone during the drive. Shortly afterward there were several unauthorized transactions affecting the victim's bank account.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
