Suspect Wanted For Fraud

New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for four (4) counts of forgery, seven (7) counts of filing false public records, and three (3) counts of online impersonation.

Wanted is Jon Anderson (pictured), White male, DOB 1/13.1987. He is also known as Jon Andersen.

According to investigators, between 06/11/2024 and 06/09/2025 Jon Anderson submitted multiple forged building and mechanical inspection reports regarding a property in the 600 block of North Pierce Street.  He also created a fraudulent e-mail address resembling that of a licensed third-party inspector and used it to transmit falsified building inspections to city officials. The documents included digitally altered photos and modified prior inspection reports copied from public sources. Anderson additionally uploaded a forged construction contract to the city’s permit system.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
