New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft and illegal possession of stolen property.
Wanted is Demetrie Cobbins (pictured), Black male, DOB 08/20/1999.
According to investigators, the victim's cellular phone was stolen via pickpocketing on March 1, 2025 in the 300 block of Bourbon Street. On April 7, 2025 the stolen cellular phone was sold to a business. Through investigation, detectives were able to identify Demetrie Cobbins as the individual who sold the stolen cellular phone.
A warrant is on file for the arrest of Demetrie Cobbins.
