The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating a subject identified as a person of interest and sought for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred on January 14, 2025, at the intersection of Almonaster Avenue and Florida Avenue.
Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Section detectives have developed Ivian Shelton (pictured, black female, DOB: 03-03-1990) as a person of interest in this case. Shelton is not currently wanted on criminal charges in this investigation. However, detectives feel she may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview her.
