NOPD, Federal Consent Decree Monitors to Present at Public Hearing April 20
The NOPD and the Federal Consent Decree Monitors will hold a public hearing today (April 20, 2022) to discuss the department's progress to come into full compliance with the ongoing Federal Consent Decree. Superintendent Shaun Ferguson will be in attendance, as well as other NOPD and Consent Decree Monitor personnel. 
 
The presentation will be made to The Honorable Susie Morgan, U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana, who oversees the consent decree implementation.
 
The hearing will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Hale Boggs Federal Building, 500 Poydras St., New Orleans, Room C316.
 
This hearing is open to the public.
