NOPD Third District Investigating Related Vehicle Theft, Burglary Incidents

The NOPD is seeking to locate the perpetrator(s) responsible for a vehicle theft that occurred on March 15, 2020, as well as subsequent criminal offenses in the following days while utilizing the stolen vehicle.

On the listed date, a silver 2008 Lexus four-door sedan bearing Louisiana license plate 108BDK was reported stolen from the intersection of Prentiss Avenue and Hauck Street. Three days later, on March 18, the vehicle was observed on video surveillance occupied by at least three unknown male subjects who were seen burglarizing vehicles in the parking lot of a motel in the 4200 block of Old Gentilly Road, while also stealing a black 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee from the same parking lot. Both vehicles were recovered on March 19 in the 6600 block of Harborview Drive.
