McDonald’s Celebrates NOPD, Healthcare Workers and other First Responders with FREE “Thank You Meals”

New Orleans – In appreciation of the healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics who are committed to the community’s safety and well-being, McDonald’s will offer free “Thank You Meals” between Wednesday, April 22nd(tomorrow) and Tuesday, May 5th

All open McDonald’s locations in the City of New Orleans are participating and will provide the meal at no charge via the drive-thru or by carry-out.  “Thank You Meals” are available during breakfast, lunch, or dinner and feature a choice of sandwiches, drinks, a side of small fries or hash brown, along with a thank you note.  Please see the “Thank You Meals” options below:

Breakfast

  • A choice of an Egg McMuffin®, Chicken McGriddles® or a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit. All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and a Hash Brown.

Lunch and Dinner

  • A choice of a Double Cheeseburger, 6-Piece Chicken McNuggets® or a Filet-O-Fish® will be offered. All options come with any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee and small fries.

“We wanted to give back to those who are sacrificing their own health and spending time away from their families to keep our community safe,” says local McDonald’s franchisee, Louis Colin. 

Officers, healthcare workers, and other first responders simply need to show up in uniform or show their badge/ID to receive a meal.
