The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Justin Hull (DOB: 01-25-1996) in the investigation of a simple robbery that occurred on April 1, 2019 in the 800 block of Decatur Street.
Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives learned that at about 8:45 a.m. the victim was dropped off at her place of employmentin the 800 block of Decatur Street by a known male subject later identified as Hull. The victim added that Hull was arguing with her at the time. At about 8:55 a.m., Hull allegedly entered the victim’s place of employment, walked behind the counter and attempted to snatch the victim’s cell phone from her hands. The victim struggled, at which time Hull allegedly pushed her. Hull then reportedly took the victim’s cell phone and fled the location.
The victim also told police that Hull stated during the argument and upon his reported return to the location at about 4:00 p.m. that he was going to wait for the victim to leave work and kill her.
Through follow-up investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives positively identified Hull as the suspected perpetrator in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest. When located, Hull will be arrested for simple robbery, simple assault and domestic abuse battery.
