NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted for Drug Law Violations in Seventh District

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating Torey Jackson (DOB: 09/14/1981) after he was accused of committing a drug law violation in the Seventh District.

On April 8, 2019 Jackson reportedly approached an employee at a rental car business located in the 13000 block of North I-10 Service Road and asked her to retrieve a bag of narcotics he forgot under the hood of a vehicle he returned.  The employee advised the subject that the vehicle would not be back at the location until a later date.

Officers learned about the conversation between Jackson and the employee and conducted a search on the vehicle. During the search, officers discovered two bags of heroin and two bags of cocaine under the hood of the vehicle.

Anyone with any information regarding Jackson’s whereabouts should contact Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
