NOPD Seeking Suspect in Attempted Simple Robbery in Fifth District

The NOPD is seeking information to assist in identifying and locating a subject believed to be responsible for an attempted simple robbery at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and North Johnson Street on April 17, 2018.

The subject reportedly goes by the name of “Joe” or “Joseph,” and is believed to frequent the area of Pauger and North Villerie streets.

Anyone with information on the pictured individual or additional information on this incident is asked to contact Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050 or Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
