The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating Thomas McGinnis (DOB: 10-24-98) for an Armed Robbery incident.
The incident occurred on Sunday, April 22, 2018 around 10:42 a.m., an unknown subject entered a business in the 2000 block of Caton Street and demanded the customers to get behind the counter while demanding the money from the register.
Once the subject received the money he fled on foot towards Mt. Olive cemetery and then towards Dillard University.
The wanted subject was described as a black male, dark complexion, slender build wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, beige pants, black handkerchief on his face with red and white shoes with red shoe laces and the Puma brand logo.
The subject was armed with a maroon and silver semi-automatic.
During the course of the investigation, Thomas McGinnis was identified as the suspect who robbed the store.
