The NOPD is asking for assistance in identifying an unknown male subject who was seen stealing money from a tip jar.
The incident happened on April 20, 2017. The suspect was seen on surveillance video entering the SWEGS Kitchen located in the 200 block of North Carrollton Avenue. He then took possession of $30 from the tip jar and fled the location on a bicycle. The reporting person advised that the subject is known to frequent the Mid-City area.
