Suspect Sought for Aggravated Battery on Curran Boulevard

The NOPD is looking for Alyshia Meare (DOB: 12-21-1995) as a suspect in an aggravated battery that took place in the 10500 block of Curran Boulevard.

 

The victim reported that on April 1, 2017, at approximately 8:20 p.m., he and Meare became engaged in a verbal altercation inside of her residence. He stated that during the verbal altercation, Meare relocated to the kitchen and retrieved a knife, then she began swinging the knife at him and struck his right forearm. He reported that Meare also grabbed his cellphone and threw it against the wall causing the screen to shatter.
