NOPD Arrests Suspect for Drug, Firearm Possession on Alcee Fortier Boulevard

On April 20, 2017, the NOPD arrested Louis Deamore (DOB: 03-17-1994) after officers found him to be in possession of illegal drugs as well as a firearm in the 4900 block of Alcee Fortier Street.

At about 11:24 p.m., Seventh District officers conducted a suspicious person stop while on proactive patrol in the area. During investigation of the subject, identified as Deamore, officers found him to be in possession of marijuana as well as a handgun.

Deamore was arrested and booked into Central Lockup on charges of possession of marijuana, illegal carrying of a weapon and illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of marijuana.
