Eric Christopher Gentris (black male, DOB: 01-02-1989) was arrested in Lafayette Parish late yesterday evening (October 16, 2024) in the NOPD’s investigation of a homicide that occurred earlier in the night in the 6200 block of Bridgehampton Drive.

The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred this evening (October 16, 2024) in the 6200 block of Bridgehampton Drive and left an adult female victim deceased. A suspect has also been positively identified in this investigation.
