The NOPD ‘s Fatality Unit is searching for a small silver SUV, possibly a Jeep brand model, believed to be responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on the Westbank Expressway near the Terry Parkway exit on April 1, 2018.

The NOPD is investigating a traffic fatality that claimed the life of an unidentified adult male victim. The incident happened on the Interstate 10 East near Irish Bayou exit, this morning (April 27).

Officers in the Seventh District arrested Michael Brumfield (DOB: 10/19/87) today for his involvement in a hit & run, reckless operation of motor vehicle, resisting arrest, illegal carrying of firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.
