Today (April 6, 2022), the NOPD – assisted by the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office -  arrested a 13-year-old juvenile male suspect (not pictured) in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on March 31, 2022, in the 10000 block of Almonaster Avenue.

On March 30, 2022, members of the NOPD's Special Operations Division arrested Tyrone Steele (pictured, black male, DOB: 05-05-2003) on murder charges in connection with two homicide incidents that occurred earlier this month and left a total of four people dead. 

The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad, U.S. Marshals and Louisiana Probation and Parole today (February 21, 2022) arrested a 16-year-old juvenile black male (not pictured) and Brandon R. Hamilton (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-25-2002)in the investigation of a homicide on February 18, 2022 in the 2100 block of Cobblestone Lane.

The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals today arrested Tyrese Carter (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-23-2003) in the investigation of a homicide on January 26, 2022 in the 3800 block of Texas Drive.

The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) and the U.S. Marshals today (February 6, 2022) located arrested wanted suspect Tyrese M. Harris Sr. (pictured, black male, DOB: 03-09-2003) in connection with an unarmed carjacking incident and an attempted armed carjacking incident.
