The NOPD will be partnering with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Louisiana Highway Safety Commission for the “Buckle-Up in Your Truck” campaign, which will span from April 22- April 29. This grant-based campaign will assist law enforcement agencies to target drivers operating vehicles – specifically pickup trucks – without wearing seatbelts, to bring awareness and save lives.
