Nine members of the so-called D-Block gang have been indicted on drug and racketeering charges. All are in custody.

NOPD Second District officers got two new set of wheels to help patrol in the area.

On April 7, 2018, the NOPD arrested James Warrick (DOB:  11-12-1998), Roy Cross (DOB: 10-17-1998) and a juvenile suspect (DOB: 07-10-2002) who are believed to be responsible for a total of at least 13 armed robbery incidents and connected to two additional incidents reported throughout the city between March 21 and April 6, 2018.

NOPD Deputy Chief Paul Noel & Sixth District Commander Ronnie Stevens today outlined the arrest of three individuals on drug distribution charges that are believed to be tied to gang activity in the Sixth District. The arrests come during a joint investigation by the NOPD and FBI's New Orleans Gang Task Force.

An ongoing joint investigation conducted by the NOPD’s Tactical Intelligence Gathering and Enforcement Response unit (TIGER), Sixth District detectives and the FBI’s New Orleans Gang Task Force has led to the arrest of three individuals – Randy Calvin (pictured at left, DOB: 03-24-1991), Chance Skipper (pictured at center, DOB: 12-08-1995) and James Alexander (pictured at right, DOB: 03-20-1992) on drug-related charges.
