Today (October 27, 2023), the NOPD and Louisiana State Police arrested Maurice Riley (male, DOB: 05-28-2023) in the investigation of a criminal damage incident that occurred in the 6200 block of Pratt Drive on October 18, 2023.

 On October 24, 2023, members of the NOPD, FBI and Louisiana State Police arrested Ahmad Seals (black male, DOB: 06-09-2005) and a 16-year-old juvenile black male in the ongoing investigation of two armed carjacking incidents that occurred on October 16, 2023, in the Sixth District.

The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) today arrested Ladonte Richardson (black male, DOB: 11-06-2002) in the investigation of a double homicide that occurred on December 7, 2022, in the 3200 block of Gentilly Boulevard.

On July 26, 2023, the NOPD arrested Keddrick Butler Jr. (black male, DOB: 05-14-2004), who is believed to be involved in multiple vehicle burglary incidents that occurred in the Eighth District earlier this month.

On June 8, 2023, NOPD Eighth District detectives – with the assistance of the NOPD Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals – arrested Chad Louis Johnson (black male, DOB: 07-26-1988) in the investigation of a shooting that occurred on June 4, 2023, in the 300 block of Bourbon Street.
