The NOPD and Hancock Whitney presents the Mounted Police and Sheriff’s Department Soccer Games, which is set to take place at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the NOPD Mounted Stables, located at 1021 Harrison Avenue.

The NOPD coordinated with Walgreens again this year to do a candy giveaway and to make sure kids have a safe and boo-tiful Halloween.

Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Antoine Reid (DOB: 11-10-1990) and Evan McMillan (DOB: 05-08-1997) in connection with an armed robbery and battery incident that occurred on October 6, 2018 in the 2800 block of Second Street.

Today (Oct. 16) at 5:00 p.m., Superintendent Michael Harrison, along with Mayor Latoya Cantrell, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORD), and other city, state and federal leaders will kick-off the citywide Night Out Against Crime at A.L. Davis Park, located at 2600 Lasalle Street. The event is free and open to the public.
