UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Shooting on Eads Street

UPDATE: Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad arrested Dwayne Franklin this morning (March 19, 2018). He will be booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for attempted second degree murder and illegal discharge of a firearm during a crime of violence.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is asked to contact Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050.

The NOPD is seeking to locate two persons of interest seen in surveillance footage in connection with an auto theft that occurred on March 12, 2018 in the 3200 block of Dauphine Street.
