During the 2020 Mardi Gras holiday, the NOPD will once again partner with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to get drunk drivers off the roads and help save lives.

The NOPD is partnering with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority-Omicron Nu Zeta Chapter and Senator Troy Carter for the 4^th Annual “Dresses for Dreams” Drive and Fashion Show that helps ensure local high school students have a memorable prom experience. 

The NOPD partnered with cyclist advocacy group Bike Uneasy in efforts to promote a better understanding of the issues faced by cyclists and forge improved connections between the NOPD and the cycling community.

The NOPD in collaboration with the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation, Arnaud’s Restaurant and several other community partners announced the donation of over 3,000 teddy bears for the Sixth Annual Teddy Bear Program.
