The NOPD’s Traffic Division will conduct an upcoming sobriety checkpoint in Orleans Parish. The checkpoint will operate between the hours of 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, and 5:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29.
Mayor LaToya Cantrell today (September 22, 2023) officially swore in Anne Kirkpatrick as interim superintendent of the New Orleans Police Department.
