NOPD Invites Community Members to the 2018 Night Out Against Crime Kick-off Event

Superintendent Michael Harrison and other city officials will kick-off the 35th Annual Kelly Marrione Night Out Against crime event at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at A.L. Davis Park, located at 2600 LaSalle Street, followed by remarks from city leaders at 5:30 p.m.

NOPD Approval Rating Up Four Points in Annual Crime Satisfaction Survey

Results announced today from the New Orleans Crime Coalition (NOCC)’s regular survey show that public satisfaction with the NOPD increased to 55 percent, a four-point bump compared to results of the 2017 survey.

NOPD Encourages Drivers to ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’

The New Orleans Police Department, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) are enforcing the ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign to help keep impaired drivers off the road.
