The following are quarterly reports of NOPD Special Victims Division sex crime statistics and domestic violence statistics compiled by the NOPD Analytics Unit for the first quarter of 2024. Please note that these figures are preliminary and subject to further analysis and revision.

The NOPD today (April 2, 2024) briefed media on a recently discovered error regarding crime data reported by the department’s Special Victims Section for the years of 2021 and 2022, and how the department is working to correct the reporting.

Mobile Traffic Units are deployed at locations throughout the City to supplement and support traffic enforcement by the NOPD.
