The NOPD continues to investigate a homicide that occurred on November 23, 2022, in the 2200 block of Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard, and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspected perpetrator.
At about 3:47 p.m. on November 23, 2022, NOPD Sixth District officers responded to a call of shots fired at the location. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male gunshot wound victim inside of a vehicle. The victim was declared deceased on scene.
As investigation into the incident progressed, NOPD Homicide Section detectives have obtained surveillance video of the suspected perpetrator in this incident. The suspect can be seen walking in the immediate area following the homicide. The suspect is described as wearing black pants, black shoes, a black t-shirt and a head covering. The video can be viewed in the above player.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
