The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Precious Stephens (pictured, black female, DOB: 05-17-1996) in the investigation of a malfeasance in office incident reported on August 23, 2021.
The Orleans Parish Communication District reported to NOPD that they had discovered one of their 911 operators, identified as Stephens, had reportedly deliberately disconnected 911 calls without obtaining necessary emergency information or relaying such emergencies to the other dispatchers for aid.
When located, Stephens will be arrested for malfeasance in office and interfering with an emergency communication.
