Suspect Sought in Theft on Paul Morphy Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect seen on surveillance footage in a reported theft that occurred in the 1600 block of Paul Morphy Street on September 13, 2017.

At about 11:00 a.m., the victim was working with his white Apple iPad as he was conducting telecommunication work in the area. The victim then left the location and went to another job site for about 90 minutes, before realizing he left it on an electric box in the 1600 block of Paul Morphy Street.

Upon returning to the location, the victim discovered his iPad missing. The victim viewed a video surveillance camera system in the area and observed an elderly white male take his iPad from the electric box. The victim attempted to track his iPad, but found that it had been turned off.
