85 Ecstasy Pills, Stolen Gun, Marijuana, $11,000 in Cash & More Found on Four Subjects in Seventh District

The NOPD Seventh District arrested Mackenzie Thorton (DOB: 10-15-1995), Ddhaz Wiltz (DOB: 2-28-2000), Tyrin Wiltz (DOB: 12-6-1994) and Marlin Davis (DOB: 6-29-2000) after they were found in possession of ecstasy, liquid THC, marijuana, a stolen gun and over $11,000 in cash.

The incident happened Friday, September 1, 2017. At around 1:25 a.m., Seventh District detectives Michael Sartain and Dylan Warter conducted a traffic stop after observing a traffic violation near a hotel in the 8400 block of South I-10 Service Road. During the incident, Tyrin Wiltz was identified as the driver and was arrested on outstanding warrants.

The detectives then conducted a search of the vehicle and located a large amount of marijuana and a fully loaded Glock 27, .40 caliber. After locating the contraband, the detectives learned that Wiltz was occupying a room at the hotel in the area. Officers then secured a search warrant for Wiltz’s room and Mackenzie Thorton’s vehicle after learning that she, Ddhaz Wiltz and Marlin Davis were all occupying a room with Tyrin Wiltz.
