The NOPD has identified Lucious Henry Stovall, Black male, DOB: 2/29/1984 as the suspect in an auto theft that occurred in the Eighth District.
On September 23, 2023, at about 12:50 a.m., an auto theft occurred in the 200 block of Poydras Street. The vehicle, a 2016 Hyundai Kona, was stolen after it was left running by a valet attendant.
Through investigation, detectives positively identified Stovall as the perpetrator in this incident.
Upon apprehension, he will be charged with theft of a motor vehicle. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
