NOPD Arrests Suspect in Armed Carjacking Investigation

On October 8, 2022, a coordinated effort between two NOPD field districts and the department’s Violent Crime Abatement Investigation Team (VCAIT) resulted in the arrest of Jeremy T. Adams (black male, DOB: 02-21-1987). Adams was arrested in the investigation of an armed carjacking incident that occurred earlier that day in the 1100 block of Ursulines Avenue.

Members of the New Orleans Police Department’s Fatality Section are investigating a Hit and Run Traffic Fatality that left a 16-year-old male dead. The Offense occurred on October 10, 2022, shortly before 10:30 P.M., at the intersection of Oliver White Avenue and Benefit Street.
