The NOPD is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a person of interest in a shooting that occurred at the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Elysian Fields Avenue.
On November 27, 2023, at 4:10 p.m., NOPD Fifth District officers responded to a call of shots fired and located an adult male gunshot wound victim on scene. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The above-pictured subject was seen fleeing from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Elysian Fields after the shooting had occurred.
It is believed the subject has pertinent information regarding the investigation and is needed for questioning.
