NOPD Seeks Help in Identifying Simple Robbery Suspect

The NOPD seeks the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect in two simple robbery incidents.

On Monday, November 6, 2023, at 8:04 p.m., the above-pictured suspect allegedly attacked the victim as he was riding his bike in the 3100 block of Burgundy. The suspect reportedly hit the victim several times before forcibly removing $20 from the victim’s pockets and fleeing on foot eastbound on Burgundy Street.

Approximately 10 minutes later, a second simple robbery occurred in the 2700 block of Saint Claude Avenue with a similar perpetrator description. Investigators believe the pictured suspect possibly committed both.

The suspect was last seen wearing a purple hoodie with a small tiger on the front, dark-colored pants, and light-colored shoes. The suspect is approximately 5’6” with a thin build.

If anyone has information regarding this incident or the identity of the subject involved, please notify any 5th District Detective at 504-658-6050 or Crime Stoppers at 504-822-1111.
