The NOPD is assisting the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in its search for a person of interest in the investigation of an incident that occurred on November 18, 2023, in that jurisdiction.
In the early morning hours of November 18, an incident occurred in Prairieville, La., involving a reported false imprisonment and sexual battery. Several hours prior to this incident, the victim was reportedly seen in the area of Bourbon Street in New Orleans and reportedly entered the pictured vehicle, operated by the pictured unknown Hispanic male. The two then reportedly traveled to Ascension Parish against the victim’s consent.
The person of interest, an unknown Hispanic male, was pictured via Real Time Crime Center surveillance cameras on Bourbon Street and is sought for questioning by APSO detectives regarding this investigation.
