NOPD Investigating Shooting at Magnolia and Felicity Streets

The NOPD is investigating a shooting involving multiple victims that occurred today (November 25) at the intersection of Magnolia and Felicity streets.

At about 4:24 p.m., Sixth District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered four victims - three males and one female - having each suffered single gunshot wounds. Numerous spent bullet casings were found at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, as well as at the intersection of Magnolia and Felicity streets.

One of male victims suffered a gunshot wound to the back, while another suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh. The remaining male victim suffered a gunshot wound to an unspecified area of the body. The female victim suffered a gunshot wound to the left shoulder. All four victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Three of the victims were transported via EMS, while one victim was transported via private conveyance.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
