The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating a person reported as missing.
Melvin Webster (DOB: 10-15-1947) was last seen by his wife at about 10:30 a.m. on October 31, 2016, as he was walking to a nearby Dollar General store on Mirabeau Avenue.
Webster is described as a black male standing 5’8 and weighing about 140 pounds with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and light brown pants. Webster has been diagnosed as having Alzheimer’s and dementia and has left his residence before for several days.
