Vehicle Stolen in Armed Carjacking on North Prieur Street

Vehicle Stolen in Armed Carjacking on North Prieur Street

The NOPD is seeking a vehicle that was stolen during an armed carjacking in the 100 block of North Prieur Street on March 1, 2017.

The victim in this incident told police that at about 2:35 a.m., his gold 2002 Toyota Solara car, bearing Louisiana license plate # XPH962, was taken at gunpoint by two unknown black males. The subjects then fled east in the vehicle on North Prieur Street.

The victim described one perpetrator as standing about 5’8” with a dark complexion and wearing a white bandana and black jacket. The second perpetrator, who was allegedly armed with a black semi-automatic pistol, was described as standing about 5’3” with a short haircut and wearing a black shirt.
