NOPD is looking for Hakeen Stanton (DOB: 11-08-1972) for assaulting a woman in the 6300 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
The victim reported that on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, about 1 a.m., she and Stanton became engaged in a verbal altercation inside her home. She stated that the altercation became physical when Stanton struck her in the face with a closed fist causing an injury to her left eye. He then retrieved a handgun and began striking her repeatedly about the body and top area of the head causing bruising to her body and lacerations to the top area of her head.
