The NOPD is investigating the shooting of an unknown male about 19-21-years-old. The incident occurred today in the 4100 block of Urquhart Street.
At approximately 12:08 p.m., Fifth district officers responded to a call of a male shot near the intersection of France and Urquhart Streets. When officers arrived, they found the male shot to the head lying down on the sidewalk. EMS rendered aid to the victim and transported him to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition
The investigation is on-going and detectives are investigating to determine a motive and suspect(s) in the incident.
