The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 3400 block of Kabel Drive.
Around 5:37 a.m. this morning (Mar. 17), NOPD officers responded to a call of a disturbance and shots fired in the area of Kabel and Berkley Drive. They discovered an unknown male lying in the parking lot area of a strip shopping center in the 3400 block of Kabel. He was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s) to the body. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office releases the names of victims and the official cause of death.
