Homicide Unit Arrests Suspect for Murder on North Roman

The NOPD’s Homicide Unit arrested Vincent Thomas (DOB: 6/17/1990) on June 20 in connection with a June 19 homicide by shooting in the 1100 block of North Roman Street. 

At approximately 8:38 p.m., a homicide by shooting occurred within the 1100 block of North Roman Street. Through the course of the investigation, detectives developed Thomas as a suspect in the incident. As the investigation progressed, detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Vincent Thomas. 

 

On June 20,  Thomas met with detectives in the Seventh District. At that time, he was placed under arrest and subsequently booked with one count of second degree murder.
